Product Line Manager (S-One)

The Product Line Manager is a member of S-One’s Product team whose purpose is to define, resource, monitor and manage great products that provide the Company sustainable revenue and profit value.

Product Line Manager will work closely with the New Product Development, Product Specialists, Associate Product Specialists, Sales and Marketing Teams to guide, facilitate and drive the growth in targeted market areas and product segments. The PLM will additionally work closely with key vendors to strengthen our market presence and lead with quality, innovative and cost-effective products.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Overall performance of product line and key markets

  • Drive key vendor relationships

  • Work with Marketing Team to drive key S-One strategic initiatives

Position Accountabilities

  • Product/Market analysis: identify product trends and sales opportunities

  • Product planning and forecasting

  • Geographic market pricing/positioning

  • Product launch planning - forecasting, goals and promotion both internal and external

  • Identify gaps in portfolio - set price/performance targets

Position Requirements

  • A solid concept to execution follow-through mentality, encompassing planning, editing, distributing, managing and monitoring of content from product inception through its lifespan.

  • Extreme attention to detail, combined with the ability to focus only on the details that matter so that messaging, information and execution is always clear and simple and is executed within committed timelines

  • Must be a self-starter and possess the ability to think independently and problem-solve creatively

  • Must be able to analyze and assess detailed internal and external data on products in macro terms as well as in region-specific terms to identify opportunities for increased growth or profitability. Must develop strategies and solutions to unlock that opportunity

  • Ability to monitor and analyze market needs, sales trends and competition
