Associate Product Specialist (S-One Labels and Packaging)

The Associate Product Specialist is a member of S-One's product team whose purpose is to help manage great products that provide the company with sustainable revenue and profit value.

The Associate Product Specialist will work closely with the Product, Sales, and Marketing Teams to help facilitate the growth in targeted areas or segments. The Associate Product Specialist will additionally work with Product Line Managers on key vendor initiatives with an opportunity to act as a lead for specific product lines.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Product and system administration including SKU changes, MAP compliance and pricing changes

  • Daily interaction with sales representatives including basic product assistance, identifying wants from sales representatives and competitive position tracking

  • Targeted vendor interaction and participation

  • Product lead on specific product lines

Position Accountabilities

  • Work with sales representatives to ensure accurate and profitable products to market

  • Managing accurate product information for internal and external communication

  • Enhancing the customer web experience

Position Requirements

  • A solid concept to execution follow-through mentality, encompassing planning, editing, distributing, managing and monitoring of content from product inception through its lifespan

  • Extreme attention to detail, combined with the ability to focus only on the details that matter so that messaging, information and execution is always clear and simple and is executed within committed timelines

  • Must be a self-starter and possess the ability to think independently and problem-solve creatively

  • Analyzes and assesses detailed internal and external data on products in macro terms as well as in region-specific terms to identify opportunities for increased growth or profitability. Develops strategies and solutions to unlock that opportunity.
